First of all, thanks to the terrorists that attack Mumbai ! U would like to shoot me for this, but do reckognize that even I want all of them to be tortured publicly in Shivaji Park and cut their limbs off and throw dem off to die on their own !

Well, I usually dont become so violent, but drastic times bring along drastic changes...and thats what is actually needed at this hour...
I salute all d soldiers, officers, media people and vigilant citizens alike who fought without fear so that I could finish my seminar report peacefully just 20 miles away...

How did this happen ?...n do we learn any lessons ?

In such times of terror and havoc, its the individuals awareness and commitment towards society that really matters...how long can we wait for the government/police/army to rescue us !
Its time to stand up and be responsible...to fight against the real enemies rather than point fingers at our fellow countrymen (Yes, Mr. Raj Thackeray ! NSG commandos from the "Bihar" regiment saved their marathi brothers!)

Dear Politicians, GET A LIFE ! have some shame before U use these situations for personal profits and vote-jugaads...I really feel the Parliament attack should have been successful !

Now, as citizens what we must do is to be alert, aware of whats happening around...be vigilant, more observing...co-operate with any security system U come across...be it the IIT main-gate or the police at a cricket match...

co-operation is the key ! and most importantly...get up register yourselves and vote for sane people who actually love India and its people...

P.S. : there is a new Anti-Terror Helpline no. installed by the ATS... dial 1090 in case of suspiscion or emergency...and the local ATS will be there in a flash...U can dial from cell-phones and its the same number throughout India...

The First Principles

these are just valuable points to remember...and use too :)

1.] Act Spontaneously, without pertaining to pressumptions and concepts, it will
bring out your true nature, and the action will always be right !

2.] Resolve to do, what U want to do !
don't keep it hanging, just resolve to do it and rest...

3.] Drop or leave what U cannot do...it will save you a lot of time and energy :)

4.] Give your 100% in whatever is requires from U !
(though U may not like it...but save conflicts by completing d job 100%)

5.] Forget about what U have already done...don't worry anymore, it will be taken care of...just give your Best when U have control...
this one is especially for exam time...till results ofcourse :D

6.] don't feverishly run behind skills, desires, things..whatever...
just be content with what U have, what U are...be grateful for it...and U WILL GET all what U need, even before U ask for it !

most important, Come What May, do not disturb your peace of mind !

The Secret of Mistakes

its time for some knowledge...

why do we get angry?...simply because something does not go the way WE want it to...wats d remedy ?...do not expect the universe to follow UR rules :)

what do we do when someone errs?...get angry at him/her !
what do we do when we make a mistake?...blame ourselves !
who is d idiot ?...who lost his peace of mind ???

whenever a mistake is made, just seperate the event from anyone...
mistake is nobody's...neither mine, nor his/hers :)
see the mistake as just an event and take up the responsibility t rectify it !

but how do you do this?...simple, when someone else errs...just think carefully and realise that "even I have a share in the mistake...isn't it?"...n share d responsibility(not the guilt!)...
break the chain of blaming...blaming others leads to anger,
blaming yourself leads to guilt !

similarly, for qualities...when U see a good quality in the other, acknowledge it...dont compare yourself...feel that even U are a part of it...n see how jealousy flies miles away !
dont keep chanting: "hes a good cook, I'm not!"
"she sings well, I dont!"
"he is so handsome, I'm not!"
this way you can never be satisfied...just realise what good qualities I have and be grateful for getting them...U will always be happy !

OK...I'm back to my Puneri habit of lecturing...

well most of you will know how much patriotic I'm and a die-hard fan of "Swades" n RDB !...many of you must have heard me talking(rather giving sermons) on how we youth should get together to reform our country n why its necessary for the intellegentsia to to get into politics...n believe me I seriously wanted to become a politician...
but somehow 2 years in IIT and maybe some realities caused me to chicken out...n this has been worrying me lately...especially now that I've decided to go for a PhD in US...n thought better ask U guys for comments... :)

well as my wingies say, Physics or for that matter any Science is out of Nationalities and patriotism and doing your job efficiently is serving humanity which does include your motherland !

but, how can I just leave my roots ? its not just about patriotism, but generally about cowardly slipping out from moral responsibilities...
why cant I help Indian students in the future to get better opportunities for research in India itself ?...why should everyone go abroad to do meaningful research ?...though ultimately its working for humanity as a whole, then why cant one work anywhere he wants to...why do some people get advantage ?... why is "basic sciences" considered meagre in India ?...
why should I toil to prove my memory to mug up 5000 words which are never used by even the people who want me to know them!
how about foreign students giving GRE to get a PhD in India?...its a farsighted dream, practically almost impossible...but why not ?

my inner idea remains the same to build a better glorious India, though my means have changed a lot, maybe I wasnt made for being a politician...but a visionary who transformed the face of research in India...

I know its "Vaadhiv" but unless you dream big...you wont achieve Big !

well I just saw the movie...awesome theme n rocking songs !

cant say was it the movie or something else...but I decided to catch up on my Best Friends from school...well not the whole group but atleast two of them are in Pune.

this might sound very filmy...but true nevertheless...
We met exactly infront of the school...where we used to have pepsi-colas n samosas after school and stand there for hours talking about anything from WWE to girls (:P)

they dont sell pespi-colas anymore...we dont like samosas any longer...n the school buildings is just not the same...(:[)
but something very substantial is still the same between us...we dont need topics to get started !
...the same old "bhatakti atma" or how we irritated people...n the same old PJs...(yeah now U know the core source :D)...

a lots changed...appearances...our careers...interests...even ideologies...but I realised it didnt matter much with them...they are always my best pals...exactly the same as 8 or 10 years ago...

couldnt be with them for more...but yeah! now somewhere within I'm very happy...as happy as a school kid...lucky to have my Best Friends with me !



P.S. : to avoid any more senti I have cut it short...hope U guys also be lucky as me to have ur school friends with u throughout ur life :)

Hello

Well, seriously I'm not such a good writer myself...especially after I hated essay writing during my school days ! Nowadays, blogging is more of a fashion...but U may never know, like everything else...luxuries n fashion...blogging might soon become a necessity to keep pace with the dynamics !

ditch...I already told you i'm not good at it !
well, actually I've started blogging just to be in a better touch with my friends and dear ones :)
I miss you all and its practically not possible to talk to you everyday...good that we all are busy in our lives at this very very important stage of our career :)
so thought of penning(actually typing) down my experiences so that you could as well meet me personally by just reading my blogs :)
